Miss Usa
May 2025
If you’ve been to my live shows, it’s a little bit more obvious that love songs are fewer and farther between for me. However, flashback to 2020ish, I had a lot more inspiration; In the form of my siblings having truly unrepeatable love stories. So I began to write songs for them and this was the first of its kind. I wrote it for my best friend as a gift for her and her husband on their wedding day. (Later on, to celebrate her 30th, he and I would conspire to create a private EP for her featuring this along with songs from their wedding mass.) As I was also working on “Bird of Passage” at this time, I had MISS USA as one of the tracks. But ultimately, I felt like it belonged to them. And so I left it on the cutting room floor. Flash forward to “Bird of Passage” being released and my sister casually asking me “why’s isn’t our song on it?” In conclusion this is a cautionary tale about what happens when you assume instead of just ASKING your sister what she wants. A life hack for you..genius I know. All jokes aside, I am thrilled to share my interpretation of their love story with all of you. Yes, with their blessing. This one is for you both, Nick and Helene. Call me cliche, but for you, I would do all the pomp and circumstance

Bird of Passage
2024
This is a collection of my recordings from over the years. Each of them done in a different studio, with different people, in a different season of life. All in one city. My city.

I was migrating from spot to spot, learning the trade, stretching my wings. A very quiet and intimate process- and I truly think these songs capture that. If you listen closely, you might hear my wandering. You have to wander to find. In the end, it took sitting in the unsettled to take to the air.
